Who We Are
HCI is a Cairo-based organization, founded in 1992 as a sector of the recognized “Cairo Group for Investment and Development (CID)”. CID is a well-established group of sister companies. CID Group is well resourced to contribute to the most crucial aspects of development, including health, education, environment, community & civil society development, and other related development dimensions.
However, HCI is legally recognized as an independent share-holding firm, which has been established in 1996. HCI is closely cooperating with its sister companies within CID Group (Future’s Academy, Cairo for Educational Affairs, Futures’ for Educational Affairs, Futures’ Schools Foundation, Edu-Tech International, New-soft for Information & Communication Technology, EMCO for Computers & Systems, and EAN–Egypt for International Electronic Numbering,). As well, HCI is supporting & closely cooperating with the Egyptian Society for Quality in Healthcare (ESQua), the unique national professional NGO established in 1995 to promote the concept of healthcare quality improvement in Egypt and other Arab States.
HCI has years of development
expertise in Egypt and other countries (Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen, Saudi
Arabia, Sultanate of Oman, Sudan, Iraq, Syria, UAE, Morocco, Cyprus, and
Turkey).
Moreover, HCI manages a unique health maintenance program (HMP), which is an enhanced model for the traditional health insurance. The HMP of HCI focuses on health promotion and raising awareness towards healthy lifestyles. HCI purchases health & medical services from qualified health providing organizations, monitors quality of services, and covers the cost of those services provided to HCI
subscribers (beneficiaries).
